Corrections
Everything Education Times has got wrong, and what we did about it.
How we correct
We correct errors quickly, in public, and we say what was wrong. A correction is appended to the story it belongs to, with the date and a short description of what changed.
We do not make silent edits. If a change alters the meaning of a published sentence, it carries a note saying so.
Significant corrections are also listed on this page, so the record is visible in one place rather than buried in the story nobody rereads.
Ask for a correction
Anyone can ask for a correction through the contact page, whether or not we wrote about them. Tell us the story, the sentence and what is wrong with it. We will respond either way, including when we do not agree that a correction is warranted.
If we cannot establish a disputed point either way, we say so in the story rather than leaving it unmarked.
The record
This masthead has not published a correction yet, because it has not published a story yet. When it does, they appear here.
