Privacy
What Education Times collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
Education Times is published by Sukh Sandhu Pty Ltd (ACN 679 292 392, ABN 49 679 292 392). If you want to raise anything in this policy, use the contact page.
What we collect
We keep this deliberately small.
- Anything you choose to send us, such as a message through the contact page or an email. We keep it as long as we need it to deal with what you sent, and no longer.
- Standard web server logs, which include your IP address, the pages requested and your browser's user agent. These are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
- If you subscribe to an email from us, the address you give us and whether you opened it. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not attempt to identify individual readers, and we do not build advertising profiles of you.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics later, this page will say so before it happens, and the analytics will be configured not to identify you.
Overseas storage
Our hosting and email may store data outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the handling meets Australian requirements.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Ask through the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we will tell you if there is a reason we cannot do what you asked.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled a privacy issue, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
